The galvanized steel framing is fire resistant, termite resistant, mold rsistant, earthquake resistant, and it is a Green Building. The steel has higher tensile and shear strength, hence the Earthquake resistant. The Steel Framing utilizes recycled steel and it is recyclable which is why it is a choice Green Building material. Because the steel can span farther, you can build longer arches, custome design house or open frame Age-in Place house more stronger and more economical. Also, steel framing is straighter than wood, which results in more square and level building. The Steel Framing does require careful designs and technique to mitigate concerns of insulation, finish carpentry, acoustics and costs. However, proper design, planning, trained crews will provide stronger, functional, aesthetic, and cost effective steel framed construction results with the benefit of resistance to fire, termite, mold and the seismic movement. We can provide all steel frame building construction or hybrid framing with wooden framing as the requirements dictate.
